Ballistic sets-up his Namesake on the ground, immobilizing himself but greatly improving his ability to aim high for high-arching trajectories as well as improving his reload time.

Missing Role Combat Treads (Passive)

Ballistic's footwear and shoulder protection affords him substantial resistance to knockback effects, as well as reduced fall damage.

Missing Role Orbital Strike [Q]

Ballistic orders an aerial bombardment upon the target location. Bomb Voyage causes Ballistic to pan-out to a top-down view of the map and he must channel for a short duration to lock onto the target location.

I am tempted to have Set-Up cause Ballistic to pan-out, allowing him to aim via a top-down view of the map. Being Set-Up could then be a prerequisite for his E and Q abilities (similar to DV-A, in a sense, in that Ballistic has two forms).

I want him to have an ability to utilizes parachuted mortar bombs, and I was thinking to have his E fires a rapid succession of rounds that slowly descend over a long line before him. Alternatively, with the about pan-out mechanic, his E allows him to "paintbrush" an area of effect over the map and then he could fire a rapid succession of rounds that rain down over the painted area sequentially or multiple rounds on the same location. But, then, I feel this contests with the use-case of his ultimate...

Missing Role Scout Drone [E]

Ballistic assumes control of a Scout Drone for the next 6 seconds that provides vision of the area around it, lasting until destroyed. The Drone's altitude can be controlled using [Space], allowing it to bypass terrain. Casting Scout Drone while one is active will instead resume control over the active drone. Ballistic will Set-Up while controlling the Scout Drone if he is not already.

Missing Role Bomb Voyage [Q]

Ballistic rains a dozen parachuted mortar bombs over the selected area. Bomb Voyage uses a paintbrush input, raining the barrage over as wide or a concentrated area as he chooses. Ballistic will Set-Up to cast Bomb Voyage if he is not already.

Does panning out dilute any skill connected to a character with a high-arching weapon?
